Recital and graduation weekend!

Silly boys!

We had such a fun and busy weekend! The night before this was the TGSO party. Then tonight we had Jenna and Samuel's piano recital. I'm so proud of their dedication and hard work! We had all the cousin support for these events as well! Gotta love cousins! Samuel played "May the force be with you" and Jenna played A Romantic prelude. It was beautiful! Then we rushed down to Jenna's dress rehearsal for her jazz dance class. The next morning we woke early and drove down to Athens Ohio for Ken's medical School graduation.

Mrs. Gee

Party Weekend!

The weekend before this crazy one we had a mother daughter party for activity days. We had to dress up and put on a play with different themes. Our's was the 60's. It was great! We raided jay's trunk for some of his old things- I think it turned out well. Their teacher works so hard to make everything great for them! Also this week was Samuel's kindergarten graduation! That was an emotional roller coaster! We figured out something very cool while watching the video they had made, Samuel will gradate high school in 2023! We thought it appropriate since sine 23 is our family's magic number! The Last week of school was just crazy for us! Since I'm the social director for the neighborhood ,we had a Thanks Goodness School's Out Party on the Last day of school, June 2nd. We had a great turn out. It was so much fun for all who were there! Then the next day was Jenna and Samuel's piano recital. They both played beautiful pieces. Jenna's was a nice classical piece and Samuel's was Star Wars! Samuel was thrilled with this! Their teacher Catherine Scroth is so amazing! We will miss her as their teacher as she is moving on with her career. Then right after they played we had to rush to Jenna's dress rehearsal for dance. It was nice to have the support of family at both these events. Then after getting home at 11:00, I got up at 5:30 the next morning put my sleeping family in the car and drove 3 1/2 hours to Athen's , Ohio to watch my brother ken graduated from Medical School! It was Amazing! He is Amazing! He has worked so hard and has so much determination! We are all so proud of him! He will do great things! Then we drove back home to have a party with the rest of the family! My Aunt and Uncle came from out of town as well as my grandfather. Then the next day, Bar-B-Que at my house with the fam and then off to the recital! I LOVE recital night! Everyone looks so beautiful and their hard work shows through their effort. Emjaez studio is so wonderful and professional, you're at a real show. It's a great night for all! Well, that was a fun weekend!

Summer FUN!

The athletic supporters!
The racers!

Getting ready!
The proud mom!
I have so much to post, why am I always Behind! Well we started the summer off with a bang, on Memorial Weekend Samuel ran his first race! He was so determined, he begged me to run this race! He thought he would for sure do really well, maybe even win. I wasn't sure. I mean he is 6 and I know he runs everywhere but I just wasn't sure how he would do in a race setting. He was pumped and ready to go. I told him to pace himself and he kept saying "I just want to run my fastest mom". He lined up with about 150 kids( I'm unsure on the actual number this is just what I heard), he was near the front and I was praying he was not going to get hurt or trampled. I asked my brother Ken to run on the side and keep him on track, not knowing if he would know where to run to. The race was on and he was in the front, as they start to come around he is still in the front! I couldn't believe it! He crossed the finish line in 6 minutes and 44 sec's! He is so fast! I was amazed! He was so proud! He was loving his new air Pegasus that my dad had bought him the night before! We said they gave him wings! He came in 5th and their were 13 year olds running this race! I can't wait to see what the future holds for my little runner!

In January, Jenna my 1st baby, turned 10!!! This was huge for us! She has grown so fast and become such a young lady! We had a great party at one of her favorite spots- The ice rink! Jay and I were also called as the nursery leaders! This is taking care of the 18 month to 3 year olds at church! It's a new adventure every week! In February, My niece Abby turned 3! More birthday fun! Then we took a memorable trip to Florida! In March, we celebrated 13 year together! WOW! The time has flown by! On March 1st Jay started his first engineer job at a place called plastic platers! My brother Ken got his residency in Las Vegas! Wahoo! Another excuse for trips out west! The month was also filled with many visits from the tooth fairy! Samuel lost 2 teeth and Jenna lost 2 as well! Also, we have lego mania over here! April has been filled with A LOT of rain, but we have enjoyed the occasional park day and we had a great Easter! This week has been spring break. Spring Soccer

Abby had fun picking grass and giving it to grandma
The athletic supporters

We love spring soccer. In our family we have a saying " If you don't play, then be an athletic supporter"! So we support these 2 every Saturday in the spring and fall! Jenna loved having Coach Hassler as her coach for the past several years. We missed him in the fall.

The Zoo

We love the giraffes
Our Friends the Oneils

We love the Zoo! I feel so blessed to live so close to so many great things for my kids to do. We are always busy going somewhere and learning something!

Order of the Engineer

The Guys- These guys have studied and worked on projects together for years! What fun to see them almost at the end!
Josh and Jake - Jake and Jay worked A Lot together this last year. We joke that he is jay's school wife, because he saw jay more than I did!

Jay had a special ring ceremony. It inducted him into the order of engineer's. It was a great night. He received a special ring and they had a light reception afterward. Only a few more weeks of school left at this point!
