Washington D.C. Trip~ Memorial Day Weekend

Our Amazing Washington D.C. Trip! The kids most important stop was the Library of Congress! We LOVE the library so seeing the biggest one was number one on our list! We Went downtown with Aunt Emily who was a wonderful tour guide!

 The inside was so beautiful!

The Washington monument was being redone, but it still looked cool!

Baby ducks were swimming along the edge of the water. We love baby ducks!
The memorials were amazing! We were able to see the names of men and women who have died for us so that we can free. I am a very patriotic person, but seeing their names really made me feel  their sacrifice. I am so grateful to them and the current troops for what they do for us.

Lincoln~ I don't even to say anything else, his name says it all!

 The White House!

It was so cool to see this up close!

We had such a nice day!
We also went to see the Washington D.C. temple. It's so Magnificent! It was very cool to see again after many years and to bring our kids and Aunt Emily.

We had wonderful food at Dave and Emily's. They fed us very well! The kids Loved Dave's special waffles!

with Strawberries and whipped cream! What's better than that?!
We also went to the Airplane museum. It was filled with so many amazing airplanes!
The stealth has always been a family favorite.

This was the shuttle that in 2011 we were able to see it's last flight. Now it's here. SO COOL!
The kids had an airplane competion

 Fun times!
Mike and Linda also came over With Katie as well! We Had so much fun! The kids just loved being together and they cannot wait to go back! Aunt Emily made them math games which they loved, of course! The Jannings have math running threw their veins!

Good bye pictures! Thank you Emily and Dave for a Fabulous weekend! We just Loved being with you and truly are excited for when we get to come again!
